should have started the Virtual Australian Football League (VAFL).
all players (if possible) log on to a PS4 and played AFL on line. No points but what a laugh that would be. :D

Are the AFL players allowed to get jobs to supplement their income whilst they’re on reduced wages?
I know most of them won’t need to but some 1st or 2nd year players may need to.
Does their contract allow it?
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

The AFL has consistently told us that the Grand Final is locked in to the MCG as it is the biggest venue, and its reasoning was always that this gives the most opportunity for the most fans to attend (even if the majority don't follow either team but so long as their company has done enough business with the right people).

Now, with the possibility of playing any Grand Final as late as Dec 31, a new venue will be required as cricket will have the MCG.

The next biggest venue is Perth (60,000) so to be consistent it should be there.

But no. They are only talking about Marvel Stadium (53,359).

Adelaide Oval has a bigger capacity (53500).

I’d imagine the AFL will be needing every cent of revenue it can obtain so holding the GF at a ground they own would probably make more sense unless they make other grounds bid for the GF with high fees attached

Sounds like a plan. AFL GF at Perth Stadium. Meanwhile the Indian cricket team can try their luck at a good old-fashioned WACA trampoline.

Doesn't Olympic Park hold around 80,000? Jim hit the nail on the head anyway, Marvel it is.

Seeing they are getting a charmed run here they should be put into the Centrelink Call Centres to listen into the conversations the employees are hearing to get a dose of reality.

Imagine Tex working at Foodland.
I guess he could always collect trolleys.

Tom ‘I’ve got too many investment properties’ Rockliff should work on the registers for a dose of reality.

When the AFL does get up and running it would be nice if no supporters went to the first week of games (what's 1 more week after 3-6 months of no footy!). It would send a nice message to the players that footy is there because of supporters, not the other way around.
I apologise.
