It would of been cricket today preparing for a semi final this weekend then possibly a grand final next week before turning to footy training as I move into footy mode. I love training so being told it's canceled (even though it's for the greater good) is deflating.

Got home from work this arvo then went for a run, chilled out, did some chores then sat down to eat dinner and watch the footy and it felt so weird being at home at that time.

I guess I'm going to have alot more time on my hands to do things around home for now and for example without cricket this weekend I can finish my door project. I got wardrobe and ensuite doors and frames made and put in and I've done all the prep and paint work doing it over the last 4 Sundays and now I can finish it this weekend.

Aren’t you engaged to be married soon?
Yes, our wedding is next year.

It was so strange last night.. genuinely felt like a Friday (literally the only day/night we don't have sport on in our household).. I've personally enjoyed the past few days off of sport, chance to recharge the batteries - kids are getting impatient though.

I imagine by the time mid year rolls around we will all be so bored and chomping at the bit to get out the house and back to "normal" with sports etc.

Why they made it so when heading north on Pt Wakefield road at Waterloo Corner you have to turn off Pt Wakefield road at Waterloo Corner rd to get on the Northern expressway to go to Gawler. Would have thought it would be better for traffic flow to have it the way it was.

I feel your pain, I guess they didn't want to make Port Wakefield Road redundant plus it would've cost a shitload more as it is already a dogs breakfast at that part.

Alternatively, turn left at Bolivar Road on to the connector, that's what I do, Heaslip Road is quiet as now too.

Why I stood for as long as I did watching her indoors taping the skirting boards up ready for us to start cutting in and painting.

I must make time to have a look at this area when restrictions are lifted.
It is years since I've been north of Prospect, except to the Yacht Squadron via Tapleys Hill Rd.
(No I don't have a yacht, but some of my friends do, and my 88 year old new mother in law does...)

I had been planning to drive through the area and on up to Moonta, where I have cousins I haven't seen for a while, before the COVID-19 thing hit us.

When will people learn?

“ A 30yo Ingle Farm woman charged with drink driving, allegedly at 0.365 on Main Nth Rd at Salisbury East today, 7x the limit.
Two children were in the cast, along with a licenced, sober passenger”

Still a couple of 60 zones, it's just revenue raising, 80% of the cars do 90 in the 60 zone.

It's ridiculous.

Of all the types of wrong in that incident, the presence of a sober passenger must take the cake.

Why some people think that the only thing we do not know about Covid 19 is the vaccine and/or drugs to fight it.

Got home and she's taped up the cornice ceiling side in the laundry, has painted the cornice and cut in down the walls.

With the ceiling paint.

At least she tried to help

My wife once painted outside, dropped the paint tin and thought she’d just squirt it onto the lawn except it wasn’t a water based paint #-o #-o

I'm pretty lucky, my wife is a very good painter and bans me from helping as I paint like Mr Miyagi having a seizure. The construction stuff is my domain at home.
