How many people have any of you spent time with that would satisfy this criteria?? Besides close family, which can easily be traced and warned anyway what does this app actually achieve apart from giving Amazon data to do with as they please? I am working full time with about 20 other people, not one of us would fit the criteria.
Also goes along way to explaining why we have had very little community spread in our vast, open, warm country. Just get back to normal ffs, No international flights in without quarantine is the only measure we now need.

Booney wrote:Why are people still comparing this to the flu season? How thick are they?
The 'flu kills around 30-40,000 people per year in the US, not 60,000, the figure of 60,000 appears to be a spike in 2017/18, the 8 years prior one year is over 50,000 the rest are in the 30,000's, one year is under 20,000. And this is with a vaccine that people can take.
COVID-19 has killed 61,000 people, the first death was on March 1. So 60,000 in 2 months.
With 1,056,811 tested positive and 61,000 dead were talking around 5.7% of infected have died. The US is yet to flatten the curve but are making some headway, modelling predicts some 74,000 deaths by August. And there's no vaccine.
Comparing this to the 60,000 flu deaths in 2017/18. It's estimated 45,000,000 people showed symptoms of the illness and 60,000 died. About 1/7th of 1%.
If 45,000,000 people got COVID-19 at 5% death rate that's 2.25m people dead and an already stressed health system crumbling in a heap.
Yes, it's just the flu.

They haven't yet flattened the curve, 23,000 new cases overnight and over 2,000 deaths.
Since March 28 they've had over 20,000 new cases every day.

Considering they have roughly 3 times a bigger population anything under roughly 150,000 deaths (another 90k more deaths) would have them at a better population/death ratio.

COVID 2020- 1,000,000 cases and rising at 20,000 per day. 60,000 dead and rising at 2,000 per day
Influenza 2017/18 - 45,000,000 cases 60,000 dead. End ex.
Tweak away.
