Ive never done it in the air fryer before but as long as you dry your pork belly before hand and place a heavy spread of salt you should be able to go to wrong on the crackling.

Normal salt then use rock salt crystals as it helps dry the crackling and makes it look better too

I meant to post a photo earlier but my phone went dead so I’ll do it tomorrow!

I was really happy with the result - I’ve only got a little cheap arse air fryer from Kmart so I cut the pork belly in half and did two lots - first lot was heaps better but I slightly over cooked it, still very yum, golden crunchy slightly salty crackling and the meat was still juicy and succulent.

The second lot was ok but perhaps little undercooked - the fat under the skin hadn’t rendered away enough but was still crunchy cracking and the meat very nice.

It’s a winner! So bloody easy, convenient and frankly mess free! I’m pumped! I still need to work on how best to cook it in my fryer but I love it.. MT79 is a genius haha.
