It was good to see my old man's pacer get a mention in his write up
"Other top horses he trained in a career that saw more than 300 winners include El Juras, Dual McCall, Caroldons Lover, and Maori Skipper."

Melton trots on again early this week morning, apparently on to cater for the US market as they are not racing and the turnover last week in the US was huge. We sell a lot of harness horses to the US so there is a big interest in our trots

Chicago Bull which would have been 7th winner for G Hall jnr....not sure he drove that real well, given the tempo. Then in the straight it looked as if his foot slipped which was icing on the cake...

Runs tonight R8, drawn 3 vs two $1.90 favs from 2 and 7. Do the favs attack each other and the 3 gets the one, one and has last crack. Only 7 in the race

If it behaves at the start it should get a good trail. $41 boosted on Ladbrokes.

I was just searching for it...and i knew i should have checked here first.

7 now a L/S.

2 leads
So 1 gets the soft run.
5 will probably sit in the death so 3 should get 1-1.

If the 5 can attack and add in some pace the 3 may be able to slot in 3back. Or even behind the 2 if the driver on 1 is asleep...

Looks like 2/1 type scenario.
