Warnie week on Fox... seriously loved watching him bowl. I said to my lad when he was about 10, we never saw Bradman bat, but we saw Warne bowl.

Had some friends over on the weekend and the wife had mentioned about our new neighbours, the bloke piped up with "nothing wrong with lesbians" to which I replied with "My gutters have never been cleaner".

I paid for it a bit later but it was worth it at the time, even the fun police couldn't help but chuckle while shaking her head.

I love that stuff. How "primitive" people worked all that out is really astonishing. If it were most of us back then, we'd still be banging rocks together.

There's some really interesting things in it. The Toffy-sounding names around the then swamplands that later became West Lakes, for example.

Also, Maps 23 and 24 show where the Torrens dissipated into the 'Reedbeds' out west which then drained out to the sea at the Henley Beach South outlet, as well as to the Pat and Port River respectively. Around this time is when they actually dug out and constructed the channel that directs the Torrens to the sea.
