Well was bound to happen sooner or later.. surely this wont impact the progress we have made so far?? I mean if suddenly we are back to square one because some old biddy is sick after being exempt from self-isolating, i'll ******* riot.

For such a deadly and contagious virus, one case in 18 days is a fantastic effort. Hopefully this doesn't shut the state down for another few weeks. What a crock of shit this all is.

More interested in how long she had been quarantining in Melbourne. Sounds like ( appears as though ) she hadn't done the 14 days in Vic and had flown back to SA before that time frame.

UPDATE: The woman is not an Australian resident, and had been allowed into SA on compassionate grounds. Arriving from Victoria on the weekend, tested on arrival and taken to an undisclosed isolation facility

I thought the borders were still shut to international arrivals?

I think they are letting non-residents into the country on compassionate grounds.

It's possible that she's an Australian citizen as well.

Of concern is they are saying she has had significant contacts with South Australians since arrival :shock:
