if all things go smoothly Id say there is a big chance of more than 500 in Round 1, still 2 & 1/2 weeks to go.

I missed that. What is the answer re the potential clash at Adelaide Oval? I would've thought it would be as simple as going back to the health experts early next week, if there are still 0 cases and asking to play Round 1 a week earlier to avoid the clash. In the meantime, flag that possibility with the clubs.

Competitions for contact sports are not allowed to start until June 25th, so they are starting at the earliest opportunity.

Regarding the clash, the SANFL have suggested Thebarton Oval or a neutral ground, if the clash still exists.

The ICC meeting tomorrow will likely decide if the T20 World Cup gets postponed anyway. India doesn't want it this year as they want to play the IPL at that time, and even Australia has suggested postponing it until next year. Personally it feels like the only thing that is keeping it alive for now is Australia's low case numbers.

As a general rule (which covers SANFL, community leagues and other sports), I can't see them increasing above 500 for at least a couple of weeks after competitions start.

However, I agree that if there are no new cases from the Showdown crowd, and all the social distancing processes they implement run well, Adelaide Oval may get an exemption for larger crowds, and starting from round 1, instead of round 2.

For example, 2000 people social distancing at Adelaide Oval is going to be a lot easier to do than at any suburban ground. But would clubs prefer to play at Adelaide Oval in front of a larger crowd where the majority of their season ticketed members could attend every week, or at their suburban ground where a member would be lucky to attend one game a month?

There are no crowds for R1 . But from July 3 SANFL grounds can have 500. What that means we dont yet as R2 is/was at AO. Does that mean only 500 or can we have 2000? It moves quick so after 2 rounds there might be 3000 allowed at SANFL grounds. Who knows at this point.

I don't hate the Dogs per se, just losing to them. They won my respect a long time ago.

I don't think I speak for many Norwood supporters on that one though lol.

North just sent me an email saying I would get the digital pass for free as thanks for showing my support. I assume other clubs have done the same with their members/ticket holders?

Pretty sure it was announced a few weeks ago if you are a season ticket/full home match ticket member at any club you would get the digital pass for free.

Got an email from the club a couple of weeks ago thanking me for renewing a season ticket membership and saying I would be getting the digital pass for free.

I have a 5 home match membership and haven't received the email. Some clubs like West that cost less to be a member off actually include the digital pass for free to all full members.

I received the same email from Central but had already purchased the Digital Pass a couple of months ago; I guess that may mean that I have access to two passes now.

Looks like the Eagles will play South Adelaide first up as a home game at Adelaide Oval, then second up Sturt as an away game at Adelaide Oval. Later on in the season the Eagles will play at Noarlunga as their away match and Eagles will play Sturt at Woodville as their Home match. ,
