This morning's 0.9°C is the coldest overnight minimum temperature recorded at our West Tce/Ngayirdapira site since 24 June 1944.

Adelaide's record minimum temperature is -0.4°C recorded at Kent Town on 8 June 1982.

Yeah, I started at 5 this morning in shorts as usual but had a jacket on this morning which I normally don’t. Had to go out on the tarmac at 8am and it was still bitterly cold

I can vouch for that. Parafield has been -2 and nearly -2 the past two mornings when I've left for work.

A mate of mine in Canberra used to ride 38km one way in rain hail and snow. I have a new found respect for the bloke.

I love them. I used to love winters in Canberra because it was cold but crisp. No wind, no rain.

Another quake in the Mid North region, it hasnt registered on the Gov Earthquake website yet but at a guess i think that one was a bit smaller, maybe high 2's.

Thats 5 in the last two months by my count.
