Collingwood cant do that, remember how he forego his sizeable contract last year to play for minimum chips? Its clear he did that for a cushy off field role in 2020.

Surely his off field role can't be so cushy as to not have any accountability built into it?

Don't often agree with K.Cornes but how Clarko has again managed to convince the AFL to make a rule interpretation change mid year is unbelievable.
Any other coach would have been fined the way Clarko went on about the umpiring.

surprised the players association isnt up and whinging about all of this, players being told have to move out of their homes, reallocate for a long period of time from home and possibly family, be real interesting to see what happens if all of a sudden a 2nd wave hit some of the other states or a few players test positive from 1 club

Footy has become boring, alot of players are or appear to be disinterested however they have to play on to get money in from the broadcasters

If there's one thing the AFLPA know, and that's where the $$$ are at. They know full well without $$$ from the broadcasters the players will be on nothing.

The puppet Marshall just announced no Vic teams into an SA hub. So we can take disease riddled international visitors but not professional sportsmen that are tested every 2nd day? How are we still in the hands of this dickhead police commissioner?

When did he say that?
I heard Spurrier say yesterday that they would be willing to chat with the AFL about doing something similar to WA but as yet the AFL hasn’t requested SA to be used as a hub.

Pretty sure this is a new thing, was posted as an article on HS at 7 50 tonight, the police commissioner sounds like a really fun guy that no doubt has never played sport in his life.

Seen it now.

Today its a flat no to teams coming here.

Yesterday it was no to not having to self isolate.

It would not be fun being in his position. Making tough decisions based on facts is not as easy as making popular decisions based on emotion.

FFS Marshall. We can test these teams every ******* day if we want. At the moment tests are coming back in SA in around 24 - 36 hrs.

Just imagine having 4 or 5 Vic clubs hear playing football, in a stadium that can have up to 25k.

Bloody hell that's very short sighted of him, it would do wonders for the state.

True, he needs to make the tough calls, but I think he is wrong on this one.

We can test them every day if need be.
