Was a quality game of footy.
Both teams look to be big competitors this season, both quality outfits.
I thought Pooraka controlled the game. Just too big and strong in the end.

Looks like they will be no match for Lockleys.

I watched this game yesterday and i thought salisbury were poor.no real key forward to kick to ..dominant ruckman but didnt take advantage of that and same old game plan..go wide...pooraka skills and hitting targets much better

I agree Salisbury were poor they were lucky to be in game a half time.
Salisbury ruckman won most taps midfield rarely got to it first, had two tallish forwards which Salisbury rarely has and continued to go wide and Pooraka kept on picking it off on most occasions and used ball way better going forward.
Pooraka just out played and outworked Salisbury.
I don’t know how Hee didn’t make Salisbury top 5,I could only find 3 to put in McPherson,Hee and ruckman others just made up cause you need 5.

Smithfield will be bloody tough to beat at home. Hopefully they don't suffer much in the way of injuries as depth seems an issue.
To leave up there with two wins in nice, you earn it up there and we will have some sore young fellas today.
Great to see a large number of Kenilworth boys buy a beer afterwards as well. All clubs will need that extra bit of income.
Is $7 for a Xxxx visitors tax though?

Good day at rosewater, great hospitality by the home club and friendly faces everywhere. A club who has learnt from their mistakes and have changed their club for the better!

Best of luck for the rest of the year

Hopefully Smithfield can get a canteen going in coming weeks. There was half a decent crowd there yesterday and they would have missed out on a bit of revenue.

On the topic of drink prices, what do people regard as a fair price for a drink at a footy club?

We are still running with $5.00 stubbies and $7.00 rtd cans. Still the cheapest I’ve seen

I think $5 and $8 is reasonable.

$7 for RTD is bargain.

I didn't think Salisbury were too bad, they had nice skills and hit targets most of the time.
Pooraka's pressure was outstanding for 4 quarters, that made all the difference, they just kept buttering up tackle after tackle.
Was a good game to watch actually.

Impressed by how organised CLG were in attack, clearly been training some systems over the few weeks they had together and it showed, very organised.

Big game this week between the two heavy hitters, Who do we like Lockleys or Pooraka? Went out and watched the Lockleys game on Saturday, sluggish start but in the 2nd quarter they played some good footy. Plenty to improve on. Bulls by three goals for me!

No reports list, just watch the game.

.. but.. few boys in strife - especially Wheadon.

Is that Matt Schmidt umpiring? Not sure you could get much better positioning on the little melee, so anything he has in a report would be pretty damaging.

For those playing along at home:

https://www.dartfish.tv/Player?CR=p1320 ... 77m5605175

1st quarter 21:10:00 is a good starting point... keep an eye on Jacob Sumner (4), Cain Smith (31), Kyle O'Toole (23) and then look for the moment Corey Wheadon (10) decides he doesn't feel like playing for a month.
