Watch a bit of the WI first innings last night, overall I'm.not sure if they look reasonable, not great just reasonable or England are dead set horrible.

Actually with England they have Stokes to hold up the batting, Anderson looks like he'll still carry the bowling well into his 40s.

Burnes, Sibley, Denly and Pope bloody hell, when can we have teams playing here again.

Pretty sure I posted this time last year that Jimmy Anderson was finished.

Got that wrong . Bowled the most overs (25) with a good return 3/62. Will push the English test record to over 600 wickets you would think.

Stumps day four and wickets later in the day has helped set this match up for the West Indies.
England 8/284, lead by 170.
I saw Sibley get out before they were able to start building a lead and were in a good position at 3/249. They then lost Stokes and Crawley shortly after (they put on 98 for the forth wicket) then proceeded to lose 5/30 towards the end of the day to give the Windies a real chance at winning this match.
Crawley 76
Sibley 50
Gabriel 3/62
Joseph 2/40

Burns averaged 40 in an ashes series opening the batter where no other opener averaged over 20 so bit harsh on him and pope is the most talented English youngster since root, he did just dominate in South Africa. Denly sucks and should not be near the test side and Sibley Im not sold on but he deserves his chance. Jos Butler should not be in the test team, he has been ordinary for the past 2 years. Ed Smith certainly has his favourites.

Sadly I fear the West Indies will blow this one tonight - I hope I'm wrong.

I agree with Stan though - if this England team plays in Australia it'll be a 5-0 job.

Eighteen counties - 6 batsmen each makes 108 - and about 2 or 3 are competent at test level.

Windies did exceptionally well late on day 4 to put themselves in a winning position but obviously need to clean up the last 2 wickets very quickly as 170 is already a very challenging total to chase on a pitch that was offering quite a bit of variable bounce late on day 4.

ONLY 2 -3 capable batsmen at Test level in world cricket among ALL Countries ???
