Would much rather be every other club in the AFL than Adelaide.

-Lacking A Grade talent and the ones they have look on their absolute last leg.
-Hardly any outstanding junior talent coming though
-Minimal player trade power, list full of C Graders
-Board who are killing the club.

They could really do with Patches O'Houlihan right now.

For sure, take 5 or 6 out of most sides at the top end and they change, take 9 out of a mid table side and it really hurts.

Problem is Jacobs, Macmillan, Cunnington all 28 , Pittard, Daw, Ziebell, Hall all 29, Tarrant 30, Goldstein 31 and Higgins 32 are some of your best performers each week, good players there but none of them are getting better or taking you to the next level.

Only Collingwood, West Coast, Hawthorn, Geelong and GWS have lists older than you and bar Hawthorn the others are contenders.

North Melbourne are exploring trade offers for Ben Brown, per Damian Barrett

Our list management again has to be applauded, put a 3 year deal in front of him, he wanted 4, we wouldn't budge on 3 so he goes into the last year of his deal in 2020 with uncertainty. Could have easily given him 4 and be done with it.

I don’t think you’re a troll so I’ll happily respond & remind you of a few things...
Your club (up until only 13 years ago) were for over 44 years perpetually soft c*cks, chokers & “handbaggers”. So it would’ve sucked to follow Geelong in the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s. Remember?
Things change quickly in this game, look at the Dogs winning their flag, Richmond stuck phat with Hardwick (like your lot did with Bomber) & are now dominant, Brisbane are playing the long game too.
If you have a look at Adelaide’s list compared to North’s list, properly, you couldn’t with a straight face say you’d choose the Crows.

Definitely not trolling. One thing I will say about Geelong is at least when they weren't winning flags, they were still a chance although they always failed. I'd much prefer my team at least being a chance and give me some hope. That doesn't happen with North. I still think Crows have more upside than North. They will get some good picks over the next few years and things will turn around. It doesn't take long for teams to become competitive. I just don't see that with North. Anyhow, for your sake I hope they do become a good side. PS I can't stand the Cows.
So you've seen everything have you?

With a straight face, it's a line ball. There's no doubt North have some young talent that looks more promising than Adelaide's does, but Adelaide have started the rebuild, they've at least made the move on the older blokes. They might be bottom but they're bottom with the kids playing, they're not bottom with 5 x 30 year olds going around. From a list turnover they're a year in front of North with a strong position in the coming draft.

He isn't alone there throughout the whole industry, it must be very anti-climatic as a player atm.

Still the guy who has kicked the most goals in the last 3 seasons, I would do it for something under pick 18, if not he stays.

What are thoughts on Jared Polec's ommission for the game against the Crows? There has to be more to it than what Rhys Shaw is claiming. In last week's game against Carlton he had 25 possessions (16 contested) and kicked a goal. He probably would have kicked a second and possibly won the game if it wasn't for Jaspar Carrot. He was awarded 4 points in the AFL coaches award (I assume all from David Teague) and many "experts" judged him second best on ground. I hope Rhys Shaw isn't expecting Jared to develop defensive skills .... he's never had them and will never have them. Puzzling he gets dropped and Jaspar keeps getting picked.

Change clubs but nothing’s changed.

Pittard made a shocking error and gave up a goal but I reckon he's played well for the Roos this year. The footy world turned on him because he was unable to mark a cake of soap and get the 'redemption' goal. Pittard did no more than what Frawley did against Sydney. Apart from that Pittard was ok and was pretty good the week before as well. Dumb goal to give away but don't get the 'hate' he got.

regards,
