Had this conversation a few times recently with mates .. To differing degrees there's almost a sense of anarchy about so many people since the whole global Covid situation took off. Obviously the conspiracy theorists either devout or partial are instantly not going to accept authority, but it's almost like an increased proportion of society has taken the approach of "The world is in chaos, all rules are breakable"

Its gotta be doing more harm than good surely.
People are just looking to do the opposite of majority for attention.
I bet those that called for a lockdown in early March are the same ones who are trying to break all the lockdown rules now.
We don't need to be absolute sheep, and for what it's worth I think some of the restrictions are too far, but I do my best to comply (common sense) as I don't wanna be THAT guy that stuffs it all up.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

"Karen's" are more likely to attend a Trump rally than a BLM march

Why would you build a house close enough to a pub to get the noise but actually be too far away to walk to it?
And yeah I checked, there's nowhere to get out of/into a canoe boat on the pub side.

Perhaps Jesus owns that plot? He could just walk across the water to the pub.

Great place the Alehouse. They have apparently planned for a walkway for a few years and it hasn't got up (ooh er). But I agree, it's like a million miles away but yet a stones throw away.

I've got a place up at North Beach Wegs, you should've yelled out! Great area too, very relaxing. Enjoy the refreshments and the rest of your night.

This morning I got a phone call from a number I dont know on my personal phone, I answered which was unusual for me.

A recruitment agency offering me a job that I never applied for. Apparently they got my number from a previous employer that said they should chase me.

Wont tell me what the role is, the company or the pay but wants to meet tomorrow...

Very skeptical

I don't understand how I'm going to survive next weekend.

Fri Canberra Raiders v Melbourne Storm Prelim
Sat Geelong v Brisbane Prelim
Sun North v Eagles/South Grand Final

Definately never had a weekend like this coming up. Thank Christ I'm only working two days in the next 11 days,

Just started a survey from Adelaide Uni
Its about social licence with respect to climate change / agriculture & energy

3/4 of the way through it and they dump me saying my answers are inconsistent with their data and/or I am a bot

My answers were very consistent and I am hardly a bot.
Obviously, my views don't fit in with the conclusions they've already made.
Their science is settled

More amusing is I had to do a captcha to do the survey yet they say I may be a bot
