Can I ask why, it doesn't mean you will be in lockdown until then.

Currently there is no light at the end of the tunnel and people are getting agitated.

If it extends the powers of the bloke who is in more than a small way responsible for the current debacle Melbourne is in, why would we be in favour.

We all want it gone, him included, but he’s ****** it up, and he knows it.

I don’t watch much main stream media or news broadcasts.. but was home early yesterday.

Heard them mention they’re extending the response centre in Adelaide out longer “over fears a second wave may hit in coming months.”

I won’t lie, the way they said it made me frustrated - I’m beginning to turn to the Apache side and think this is just turning into a big scare campaign.. even something as simple as changing the word “fears” to “concerns” would have made a huge difference.

I’m also interested, if we have 3x active cases currently, how they can foresee a “second wave” in a couple months time?

Sadly whilst it is somewhat true the media are going to jump on the fact that whilst there is one case in Australia the threat of another wave exists until a vaccine is found.

When they say the 'new norm' I kind of feel like this it, we are stuck with current restrictions that will ebb and flow alongside the number of cases in the state until a vaccine is found.

Im with you though the frustration is growing especially when im doing the right things but see older adults who couldn't give a rats and young punks who are still throwing house parties like any normal day. Some of the snap footage getting around of a footy club on the weekend was disgraceful given the current guidelines and im surprised not a single person acted on the footage. One very luck footy club.

I'm curious, how do cases go from active to closed? Do you need to have a follow up test to clear you, or do they just put a timeframe on it like you're active now, but in 14 days you're not?

I think it's two negative tests in 24 hours.

I suspect that many of those calling Andrews a dictator have never lived in a dictatorship.

At any rate, the Victorian Parliament would have to approve the extension of the State of Emergency for it to take effect, and there's no indication that they will.

Don't forget the 'tater' part - plenty seem to think he's a bit of a spud.

Been my argument along i have no trust in SOME of the MSM

Called it out a long time ago.

Its called scaremongering and alarmism

When you have the ABC's go to expert Doctor with statements like a 150,000 people will die in Australia

What about publishing all the facts like

Of all the testing done around 9% are positive
96.3% of people recover
the majority of people who are more likely to die are the elderly
etc etc etc

Nah but every one is fixated by the number of positive cases and deaths from this flu.

Are we concerned about the daily deaths from Heart Disease Cancer Respiratory disease Diabetes Suicides etc the list is endless NO we are not.

We have all been programmed to accept all this hype.

This has to be finest brainwashing in the history of the world even better than Herr Goebels propaganda machine.

However i think a lot of people are now starting to wake up
SANFL 2000 - 2011 Central District 12 consecutive Grand Final appearances and 9 Premierships.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFFF.

Hit em hard let them get up and hit em again.

I'm actually happy to stay like this in SA if it means we don't end up like Victoria.

Seriously - the Victorians are slowly and surely killing destroying the Australian economy - we'd probably have travel bubbles now with the likes of NZ and even Tassie etc, if it wasn't for Victoria.

Sorry CM, I know you're not a real Victorian though so you're not offended;)
