Hope he didn't ping a hamstring? Hate to see him bawling his eyes out again.

Patton walks worse than me and I'm 54 with a ****** back and rooted knees. The guy is absolutely huge and can't possibly play at that size. Feel sorry for the guy but sheesh.

I was going to mention Hawkins. Patton is about the size Hawkins used to be. Hawkins has slimmed right down over the past couple of seasons and is one of the highest in terms of ks per match run at Geelong (last year was when I saw that stat, don't know about this year). Point being that if Hawkins remained as bulky as he once was he probably wouldn't be in the form he is now. A bit harsh on Patton who has never gotten a good run at it maybe but Essendon were bagged for bringing in Daniher but he hasn't been rushed back but perhaps Patton has been. Needs a training program that slims him down so he doesn't break down.

Dr REB ;)

Jim has been telling us that for a while. I didn't believe they were that bad, so I picked them. Jim was right.

Tough, real tough. Most of the games this round are. If Hawthorn play like they did last week they’ll win, but they’re too inconsistent for me so I went Essendon. I pulled* 7 back in 4 weeks on the leader in the tipping comp at my local to be only 1 behind now, so I’m taking it a bit more serious now.
The thing about Hawthorn is they were really up and about last week. Played some really good footy that we have only seen in patches this year, so if they bring that, they roll Essendon and fairly easily too. If they don't, then it ends up a cripple fight.

Essendon will smash them. Hawks can only get themselves up for one game in 4 and their up game was last week.
