Agreed
I've watched the first 4 eps, just doesnt have the grittiness of the other seasons. Hopefully it picks it

i feel they have played it safe... The coach is much more likable and isn't as unhinged as the others they've had in the previous seasons. Which i think isn't a bad thing. I've enjoyed it. Agreed it doesn't seem as gritty but it isn't too bad

Just finished the first two seasons of The Umbrella Academy. Entertaining enough Fantasy/Sci-Fi with interesting characters and a nice smattering of dry humour.

Yeah Klaus is a cracker, and seriously interesting character. How good is the kid that plays 5??? 15 years old when it first started but he's such a captivating figure with strong on screen presence. I'll admit I'm really missing it.

Colleagues at work keep telling me if I like the Umbrella Academy I need to watch Good Boys on Prime, so hopefully get onto that sometime soon.

Just back on the Umbrella Academy for a second ...

What superpower did No.1/Luther inherit from the whole weird birth thing? Sure he has super strength, but that came from an infusion via Pogo. Shouldn't he have some form of inherent genetic power?

Watched Doctor Sleep a couple weeks ago. Not the best Stephen King show but I lasted the whole movie and it was enough to keep me interested until the end. It was a sequel to The Shining but did not come within a bull's roar of it but it would have to be a seriously good movie to get anywhere near The Shining.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

How good is the young lad that plays No. 5?? Plays the part with such authority which is needed given the characters background. Reckon he has big things ahead of him in his chosen field.

Anyone had a chance to check out season two of "Dirty John", which is somewhat confusingly not about Dirty John but a woman called Betty Broderick who goes around the twist following a tumultuous divorce?

Takes a different angle to the first season, but still quite entertaining. Christian Slater stars as her husband, does a fine job.

Saw about 2 eps and turned it off. Dont think the producers did it any favours.
