Showing my age here.... Strawberry Road amongst my earlier bets. But I reckon Dad put a $1 onThink Big for me in the cup the year it won..... 1975?

My first memory of horse racing/betting was when the old man chucked 50 clams on Kiwi to win the 83 Melbourne Cup, I was 9.

I still remember his TAB account number from when he'd ring his bets through then listen to them on the radio.

"Account number 6650420"
"Good evening Chris, how it's going tonight?"

I remember a dog that used to run at Gawler and Angle Park called Wild Country that seemed to never lose.

Wild Country was a speed machine over the very short distances
I reckon it won over 10+ races in a row at one stage

I've always found him quite placid, I've needed him to have a bit of fire in the guts.

Grrr, punters lament.

Had the 3, 6, 7, 8 boxed in Doomben R 6, the 8 (30/1 rank outsider) gets up, the 7 (20/1 shot) runs second and the 6, (1.90 fave) doesn't run a place. The 3 is still running.....

Kentucky Derby is on this morning.
TAB is only betting on that 1 race from the meeting.
But can cover Northfield Park trots, Golden Gate, Monterrico, Del Mar full meetings etc.... just seems a little odd.

Yep the right to bear arms...

Friend of mine lives in St. Louis Missouri has a gun in her car, she carries it if she feels the need. When she crosses the Mississippi into Illinois she can’t conceal it as she’s breaking some law or other.

Don’t suppose his name is Bill? Few of my mates we’re all over Authentic. I was half asleep and tried to put a bet on, but ended up accidentally placing a futures bet in some race in November
