We had a similar run in one morning - I chucked a tanty, turned walked out and said I quit.

Turned out to be the best thing I ever did.

My first quit was in a butcher shop, I was about to cut a lamb into chops when my pig of a boss told me to stop dawdling in front of a shop full of customers, I turned and threw the lamb at him and said "f*** you, I've had enough of your shit" I took my blue coat off, threw that at him too, grabbed my bag from under the counter, jumped over the counter and walked out the door.

My in between one I was working for this cockhead German prick, he brought me a new pc as mine took 15 minutes each morning to boot up, it sat under my desk for nearly two months as he wouldn't let me set it up by myself, he insisted on doing it.

On my last day, I grabbed all of the software that came with it and needed to be installed and I threw it all in the big blue bin then rang cleanaway to come and collect a near empty bin. Half an hour after I done that, a heap of precast walls fell over at the next door factory and landed on an electricity box giving us all a blackout, I was told I could go home at 9:30am.

He was going nuts looking for the software when he got around to setting it up, he asked a few colleagues to ring me to see where I had put them.

He'll be right MW, my old man lived for another 20 years after his triple BP with no heart issues for the rest of his life.
At least it's been discovered and treated which is the most important issue.

This morning they are struggling to wake him up after the surgery. Trying again later this morning.
