Salary cap expected to be close to if not $200,000 next season.

Mark Evans also to play his last game for Sturt this weekend.

Surely this is a disastrous result for the comp if its true. Has there been an official statement?

Yes its been a rumour for awhile. Why I have no idea when no players paid this year and clubs receiving Job Keeper.

If we want the standard to be good raise the cap . Sounds terribly like an AFL directive surprisingly.

Stand up FFS clubs.

Seems as though we are letting the sanfl comp be destroyed before our very eyes

Just on the reduced cap, I'm presuming the SANFL's argument for it is that it's a post-COVID necessity, given reduced revenues? If that's the case, then it surely would be (at least in theory) a temporary policy until the status quo is resumed?

Will we have a little Sauce added to the Eagles next year?

With Baulderstone most likely pulling the pin I wouldn’t be surprised if we also had a chat to him

Godden let go by the Crows. I wonder if he and Mattner will coach SANFL again next year?

Should be in demand I'd think..from what I understand there will be at least 3 new coaches at League level next year, possibly 4.
The salary cap will reduced by 50% as well- a disaster for the SANFL. Players will be heading for the bush and earn more for less commitment.
Going to be a very interesting off season with player movement as well...

Norwood, Sturt and Glenelg.
The 4th ... lets say his board clubs board is not thrilled with him.

Sounds like the Crows have dumped most of their assistants so there could be a few takers...

Unfortunately it seems the case.
Hopefully members and sponsors pull the pin on the club until it’s rectified.
Definitely won’t be getting my couple of thousand next season and I know a few others doing likewise

It won't be Andrews, the players love him & everything is heading in the right direction for next year & beyond.

Don’t rule a line through Stone’s name just yet.
Was told at the match on the weekend (by someone who would know) that he isn’t going anywhere either.
