Zak Butters, in his second season, all 71kg of him getting the recognition he deserves is outstanding.

I don't think anyone in the AFL world wouldn't love watching this kid play, his enthusiasm, his infectious grin, his hardness. Brilliant.

Pendlebury and Gawn are great players, but missed 4 and 3 games respectively in a 17 game season. Does this count against their chances of getting in the final 22? I think it should.

Which one of Weitering, Jonas, Andrews or Moore do you leave out for May?

I wouldn't have had May in my 40 ahead of those 4.

Said this before but why don't they award a 1st team all aust and 2nd team all aust similar to what the NBA do. Name a 44 man squad initially then name the two teams.

Someone, somewhere, will always complain about one of their own not making it.

Melbourne's James Harmes has posted several shots at the selectors about May. I reckon Harmes should worry about getting his shit club off the canvas.

Weitering or Jonas.

May was an intercept and contested marking machine, he kept the best forwards to f*** all.

R1: Kennedy (WC) held goal-less, May 4 marks
R2: McGov, Casboult, McKay (C) 2 goals between them
R3: Hawkinskept to 1 goal
R5: Lynch kicked 3, Riewoldt kicked 1 (I'm not sure who he would've stood) May 8 marks and 20 disposals
R6: King (GC) 1 goal, May 5 marks
R7: Gunston kicked 3 but I doubt May stood him, May 5 marks and 19 disposals
R8: Hipwood only 1goal assuming he went to him, no other tall scored, May 17 dipsosals
R9: Dixon held to 1 goal
R10: Not sure who he took but between the Fog, Tex and Himmelburg they mustered 2 goals collectively, May 5 marks
R11: Played North, I don't know who he stood but it seems they wouldn't have hit the scoreboard as Larkey kicked 4. May 4 marks
R12: Possible stood Ben Reid against Collingwood, Reid returned 2 goals from 2 kicks. May took 5 grabs
R13: Naughton kept goal-less, May 6 marks
R14: King 1 goal (SK), May 9 marks and 22 disposals
R15: I'm not sure who he stood there but most goals came from small forwards, May took 4 marks and collected 17 disposals
R16: Taberner kept goal-less
R17: Himmelburg and Cameron kicked 1 goal between them, May took 8 grabs with 196 disposals
R18: Daniher held goal-less, May 7 marks and 21 disposals

He has a fair case.

Do a top 176 and make 4 teams and write a disclaimer (this is in no particular order).

Or, name every player on every list so no one is left out.

If he's the intercept marking defender then he's not playing on anyone. :D
