On the news they said they'd normally get a crowd of around 7,000 to these games?!

Not quite... Normally all 5 games are played at the same location on the same day. 7,000 probably come through the gate over the day but would never be there at the same time.

Also think the 7,000 number has a bit of cream added to it...

Still don't understand why 2,000 was approved for previous finals but hasn't been yet or isn't going to be for the Friday night GF.

I cant see how 1000 tickets for a U/13 and U15 GF could possibly be sold!!

There have been some great crowds at the 1st 2 Friday nights, great time slot compared to 1st thing Saturday mornings has brought more people out to watch IMO. Clubs like Cove and M/Vale have had huge numbers last Friday night to support u13's, including most of their senior players which was great to see. If you have 4 clubs playing that's only 250 each club and you are hitting 1,000 pretty quickly.

The fact that only 1000 people can witness Jimi's glorious mullet streaming out of the backlines is an outrage.

I think they are all hoping it'll all just blow away in this weather.

Very poor leadership shown by the sfl hierarchy if they are waiting for the season to end before making another statement.

The standard you walk past with no action is the standard you accept.
Seems they've walked on by with this one.

Not a great look for the league.

Realistically SFL comp is at high risk to dissolve if one of our strong clubs leaves our comp, 8 years of poor management and future planning. Hope I'm wrong!

While an important issue no doubt and certainly questions need to be asked, it does seem a little coincidental that you bring it up the day before the grand final in which your club is competing. Trying to throw Flaggies off there SB?

On the GF’s - what fascinating games we have ahead of us, beginning tonight. Weird not having 5 games on the same day but I guess that’s 2020 for you. For what it’s worth here’s my tips:

13s - looks a cracker but Cove been the strongest all year so I think they’ll get the job done.
15s - Seen Christies a few times. Well drilled but feel like Reynella might get them after a super game just a couple of weeks ago.
17.5s - Valleys flogged flaggies a couple of weeks ago and think they might do it again.
Bs - What a beauty on paper. Real 50/50. I have a feeling Noarlunga might get Flaggies but I don’t know why.
As - The same contest as last year, but roles reversed. Think Flaggies have too many big game players and will win. But as we found out last year GF’s are funny games.

Good luck to all teams!

Christie's 15's would be pretty disappointed.
Losing a gf when you're undefeated all year sucks.

Well done wineys!

Geez the weather last night must have been terrible. Not ideal for a GF, and not what you expect in late September!
