Hawkins had most of his kicks from 40+ metres out on the boundary, don’t think Port would have been unhappy about that!

Richmond 23 These 1st two results might be the best chance for a close GF, Richmond will be vulnerable in the prelim and i think Port can beat them
Saints 8 Who cares, making up the numbers
Pies 18 as above

Don’t know about that Port comment. If that’s the case, all four results are certainties, as the only time they each played this year, they were all one sided matches

Maybe they all will be lop sided, who knows.
Takes alot to turn around an 11 goal loss

14 goal turnaround :D

Owned the defensive corridor because we spread at half forward when Geelong moved it out. They went wide and stayed wide.

Lucky he didn’t kick straight ](*,) Wow.

The best by far Hinkley has coached. Defenders played dangerous side, gave 10-15m of space deep and wide in pockets, you kick them from there well played to you. (Hawkings especially, he ain’t the Coleman medalist by fluke) massive tick structurally to Ken.

Structurally fantastic, awesome finals brand of footy.

Port should be near equal favourites with Richmond.

Really hope Wedgie had a great night, throughly deserves it.

Went to bed at half time so no idea what happened.
But 1st half was simply a case of bad kicking is bad football.
Hawkins had a shocker with the boot

I'm usually critical of Hinkley's coaching but the game plan last night was brilliant, forcing Hawkins to the boundary for his set shots was instrumental as he was the danger man.

Nice touch Marshall kicking the sealer and the lads getting around him but his 3 disposals again just doesn't cut it in these big games, I'd sooner have Lienert or Westhoff in there for a bit more insurance, I actually think Westhoff will tear the game apart if he's granted another opportunity now that he knows he isn't going around again and just pure karma will kick in.

Butters in any trouble for the 'head-butt?

Would say he's fine but first game back after being suspended might not help him.'
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

We coach that sort of stuff in junior footy, hardly worth a compliment in a big AFL final

3 of his shots were well away from the boundary (which at AO isn't deep anyway) facts were he didn't kick well at all when he had his opponent beat and could have hurt you on the scoreboard. He was the only Geelong forward that looked likely to win the game off his own boot.

Cats without Steve Dank have a terrible finals record, I think they should get him back asap

Cats out in straight sets with MTs pick the Eagles winning through to a prelim
Dave Warner will be missed!

I do, Port/Brisbane have had significant advantages and also think Richmond are over-rated this year, also have to question the hunger.
