I was running in Belair NP when it hit...sounded like a jet plane was about to land! One and only time I contemplated ducking for cover...scary stuff.

Serves you right for going out running. No such danger in the front bar of the Seacliff...

We had about 10 minutes worth of heavy rain around Salisbury, at around 5:30pm.

Hayfever was giving me grief all afternoon, it was horrible.

Looks like a cyclone went through the Edinburgh area. One of the large signs on the NEXY twisted like a pretzel and working on the RAAF base and there are whole trees uprooted and big branches tossed everywhere. Couple of large fences bowled over by the wind also

One of the downpipes has sprung a leak where it meets up with the gutter. Were it not for today's downpour I'd still be none the wiser; it took seriously heavy rain for the joint to start pissing like a racehorse.

This might variously go in the "things that you rate" thread, for revealing the problem, or in the "sh1ts" thread, because now I have to diagnose and fix the bloody thing...

Yep there’s nothing that silicone, gaffe tape or zip ties can’t fix!

Big rain cumin Sundee and more rain events linging up after that because of La Niña. Crops are cooked on our place ( central YP) and these rain events are too late and are pain in the butt(ers). A positive from the rain is that the crops will not use it and it will carry over for next year. Bring on 2021
