My wife who lived in Darwin for three years is contacting all her old mates who are still up there.
We have hired a large SUV we can drop off in Darwin for the drive.

You did well to find a rental car company that will allow one way rentals into the NT

I am looking forward to renew my traveling. This damned pandemic distorted my whole year. I cannot even remember worse time than this. I could not travel at all. It is so frustrating. So I am really waiting for all my routine to be as it was before. Nowadays, I can only look through my previous trips on Instagram, you can get additional info here. There were really great times.

Concur.
We are meant to be in the US currently and it’s been 8 months since our last OS holiday and it’s not the longest stint we haven’t been OS in 16 years.
Got a few domestic trips coming up which will fill some of the void

Work tonight after a break! Wil be fun wearing blue and white tonight. Several Port supporting regulars were planning their trips up to Brisbane two weeks ago and my Port supporting boss was adamant for weeks that Port would make the GF and Geelong wouldn't.

I also rate my call electing to work on GF day/night if Geelong didn't make it but get the day/night off if they did. :D

Travelling to Port Vincent this afternoon and waking up to waves rolling in.

A trip in the morning to Edithburgh with the pushies for a ride around town then the same at Stansbury with lunch included in the visit.

Back to Vincent for a punt and watch my horse run, hang about there for dinner and then the GF.

I'm astounded that I have never been to any of the 3 places, done pretty much the rest of Yorke's.

I'm looking forward to a stress free GF day. Have absolutely no expectations that Geelong will win. I backed richmond at QT of last weeks match v Brisbane.
Will no doubt yell at the screen when the protected species get looked after though[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Despite not staying their since i was a kid Stansbury is my fav out of those 3, used to spend several weekends a year over there but it hasn' changed much with the beautiful pine trees along the esplanade. Pub has great views too.
Enjoy!

Yeah I did lunch there when staying at Black Point with Balf and a few others, Balf could give you a heap of advice when it comes to pubs around there!
