Real good public course IMO. Be watchful of the Joe Blakes...

Wouldn't bother with Renmark. Shocking course. Only 9 holes these days. Berri, Barmera and Loxton much the same and good courses and not much of a fan of Waikerie.

Your problem with playing at Waikerie is because you can't remember leaving letting alone starting the day.

hit straight and avoid the rough at all costs.... and make sure you have plenty of balls in the bag, you will lose a fair few if waywards!

absolutely beautiful course though, real tough but enjoyable

Wow thats disappointing, used to be a superb course, why did it go to 9 holes?

The pub sold it to a couple from Adelaide and they have ruined it. Didn't water the greens and they reckon it will now take 10 years to and millions to get it back to it's original condition. All of their members now play elsewhere. They well and truly ****** it up.
So you've seen everything have you?

Willunga

Saturday was a lovely cool morning for a walk.
And the Driver performed solidly with a nice fade. Irons were solid. Making a nice change in form. Greens have just been cored so putting was a lottery, and i reverted back to the 7i which worked nicely by going airborne over the sand[emoji23][emoji23]

33points.

Mt Compass
Sunday morning.

Nice views. Aesthetically pleasing....

Nice cool morning.

Driver, the gentle fade had disappeared and the Draw returned[emoji848][emoji848][emoji848][emoji848][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
Bit of a nightmare standing over the ball and just wondering where it will go.....
Having said that, no horrendous Drives.

Irons, were again solid.
Bunker play was good.
Putting was solid.
Ended up with a 90 off the stick.
Only lost 1 ball, that is a win. Especially hitting into blind areas and living in hope that its landed in good spot.
Course is in good condition, really enjoyed it. Can see how you can score really well, but can also see how scoring can easily be 100+..

I havnt played for about a month now, my last game was matchplay as I managed to qualify for it. Played it on a Sunday morning. I was against a 13 handicapper (I'm 17) so there were 4 holes where I got an extra shot on him. One of them being the 18th so I was hoping to just get to the last hole.
Unfortunately I was 2 down with 2 to play, and on the 17th missed a little 5 foot putt that would have won me the hole. Putt was dead centre and somehow it moved a cup width about half a foot from the hole. I was bending down to pick it up we both thought it was in. Did hurt a bit at the time as there is no way that should have moved. We squared the 17th so he won 2 and 1. Loved playing it though, and did make some mistakes where I went too hard, if I was to play again would definitely play some holes differently.

Grange still have comps, just cant touch flag and rakes removed. Score own card or do the app like most do these days anyway. No comps just makes no sense

Comps is considered an outdoor sport

Just playing is recreational

They were discussing it on the radio this morning
