If that’s the last we see of Ebo on the field for us, he goes out with absolute courage, skill and selflessness in that last contest. Exactly how he deserves to be remembered.

On the Ebert incident - in this day and age, should a player be allowed onto the ground before he’s off the ground, or wait till he’s off? 17 v 18 in AFL is a fair mismatch - even if only for half a minute

Hinkley confirmed Ebert retired, played his last game. Was up to Port trainers, they should have called the stretcher, once that didn’t happen and he is way out of the play, umpire then restarts play.

If it was a blood rule, play is held up until the replacement player was in place. Same should apply to a concussed player, although AFL would say Port could've called for a stretcher.

So unbelievably proud of my footy club tonight.

Kudos to Ebert, his final contest will go down in Port’s history I’m sure. What a way to be remembered.

The winner tonight? Brisbane or Geelong

That was a tough game on a dead track
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Agree. Think the winner tomorrow night will win the GF.

Very proud here as well. Going to be a tough gig next week the hardest of the 3 GF's
We just have that never say die attitude and just keep on attacking and pushing forward.
Was there with the oldest of my twins. Great view on Centre wing with other Richmond supporters.
Players acknowledge us as they left the ground

RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

If the Tigers win the flag, where would this side/period stack up against the likes of Brisbane early 2000’s, Hawthorn early 2010’s etc?

Surely right up there.

Richmond were a disgrace for 30+ years - What they have done in the last 4 years matches any side in the modern era and it goes to show that any club can turn their fortunes around with the right people in the right spots on and off field. I actually think they play the best selfless collective team branded footy I’ve ever seen when it matters.

Some quality work from Lynch trying to help console a young Power fan last night. I know he plays the villain (personally I love those types in sport) and gets panned for it, hope this particular action doesn’t go unnoticed.

What a dickhead.
Hope they escorted him out and he gets banned for 12 month.

Yep, he was built like a jockeys whip and 3 security guards dragged him out, hopefully gave him a couple of accidental ones along the way.

I’d be thinking more like 5 years.

Critical goals in the last to Lambert the difference
McIntosh I thought good
Richmond back 6 sensational

Umpiring? Yuck

Motlop where was he?!

Motlops game summed him up perfectly as a footballer, plays a good game ever now and then and places a false sense of security in selectors.
They fell for it again, give him another contract

Need to win the third to match Brisbane, hawks and Geelong otherwise they're on the 2nd line with Essendon of the 2000s
