Conway was about as calm as any 18 year old lad about to get laid for the first time.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Or overs required to be bowled?

I think scheduled finish time is 5:30.

So 9 runs in front, 2 wickets in hand, roughly 6 overs to go.
If we push to 15 in front by 5:15 then we might have a superover style finish!

Having missed the entire SANFL season coz of Covid , it was nice to get to a sporting venue

I was greeted at the gate by the friendly sociable staff and security
A staff member on a computer recorded my name and address and email
Great stuff , they can contact me with newsletters, emails or whatever
Very good stuff this VIP courtesy

I settled into the grandstand
SA was just commencing their 2nd innings

A voice called out to me
" Hey XXXXXX whaddaya doin here mate."
I said "I came to see Lyold Pope bat today ...."

2/10
In strode the star batsman Travis Head
After 1 over I told my mate, he will make a ton today
The Trav didnt let me down, what a batting exhibition , solid defence laced with exquisite strokes

HILL
SOBERS
HOOKES
LEHMANN
HEAD

The lineage if classy left handers who have represented South Australia is continuing
Some of the shots The Trav played today were Brian Laraesque

What I like about The Trav is the courage to continue to play attacking shots, even if it costs him his wicket
The risk for reward , in my opinion, is worth the way The Trav continues to play
104* well played by The Trav
55* Henry Hunt who did his part

Great to be out and about today, in one of the safest cities in the southern hemisphere

As for tomorrow
Hopefully the Trav can outscore Will and Marcus in this match
And hopefully Lloyd Pope does not have to bat

Lloyd Pope didnt have a bat !

WA v Tasmania- match ends in a draw
WA second innings 5/436 declared
Marsh 88
Short 57*

Tasmania second innings 2/117
Wade 57*

Aussie watch-
Runs for Labuschagne, Head and Wade in this round, Harris, Pucovski and even Bancroft possibly putting some pressure on Joe Burns for the second opening spot in the test team.
Starc with a 4 fa, Cameron Green is back bowling for WA, Mitch Swepson with 5 wicket haul in both NSW innings.
Nothing of note from Burns, Neser and Lyon (not that its of much concern about Gaz though)

I think Burns has done enough for the first test.

Neser shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the test arena.

I deliberately didn't add him hahaha, obviously has had a great start to the season but I think (and hope) the Australian selectors will look past him again like they already have previously.

That was one of the best Shield matches I have seen for some time at Karen Rolton Oval. The wicket was green as on the first day but when conditions were toughest to bat on Marnus played the innings of the match. I got my first extended look at Swepson and he looks very impressive. I reckon he plays in Sydney on current form. Copeland pulled out a McGrath like effort in the second dig but overall it was the more even contribution of the Blues got them over the line but only just. In closing, can anyone recall a worse fieldsman in first class cricket than Usman Khawaja? He is shocking.
