For trying to win the biggest race in Australia on the favourite, sure the punters would have loved him to be hands and heels to the line! Ridiculous rule just to please all the protesters that think horse racing is cruel, absolute joke!
Previous max fine was $10k.

However the stewards dont deal with this rule as black n white, as most racing rules have a grey area.

Its a nothing rule that isn't enforced all the time.

The punters club I go in at my local, 10 races, 3 points 1st etc.

I usually do an all-up place on the 10 races often the $2 investment has payouts around the $800-1500 mark depending on the fixed price markets, with Sydney having some 6 and 7 horse fields ( no third ) I figured I wouldn't do it. With Adelaide cancelled Saturday it ended up being a 8 race day.

I had 7 winners and a third in a race with 12 in it.

If Booney won't tell us lets start speculating ourselves.

7 winners at an average price of $5, a place at say $2.15.
Lets assume he chucked $3 on it.

5^7*2.15*$3 = $503,906.30
