Is Scott Thompson playing?

If so that's going to be great

The Brighton Bombers are still looking to finalise B & C grade coaching positions for the 2021 season and are seeking expression of interests. This is a great opportunity for someone to develop their coaching skills working alongside a Division 1 Premiership Coach in Brett Backwell.

John Butcher rumoured to have signed at Goodwood. Skara (Goodwood junior) and Caire (unley coach this year) signed at Goodwood

The brown paper bags are back in fashion at Goodwood. Mills must have left a few behind. Bonner the Footy director left so they bought them back out.

Got something against Goodwood? No Butcher, not sure who fed you that one. Skara back after a stint with a mate at Unley, Caire mates with people at Goodwood also. No Thrings opens up some points. Don’t let that get in the way of your brown paper bags though...

Ben Macreadie is a handy pick up. I played with him at Gaza for a couple of years. Really rate the bloke. Smart footballer, great left foot, good overhead for his height.

havent got anything against Goodwood but thats the rumour about Butcher. got told that from someone from a Div 1 Club.

It is true that Mills paid blokes out of his own pocket when they were winning premierships. Once DB went on board a footy director he stopped it. that is not a rumour that is a fact.

Another ex Redleg to Payneham in 2021. Wilson to join Bode, Baulderstone and co.

Are Jace and Kernahan best mates? Or is there no points system for Div 1 in 2021?

Kernahan doesn’t run the points system

You can have a million points in your squad

Surman, Davis, Auciello, Bartlett and the blokes above all playing in the twos?

Jace must run some pretty good BBQs to bring all these lads on board. I feel sorry for all the local young lads trying to get an A Grade game and the ones being forced to take a pay cut.

I believe the club is always judged on A grade performance, if they didn't recruit and don't improve then questions get asked, can't have it both ways. If the kids are good enough they get a game. Nothing wrong with a B grade flag when you are young and learning. I do understand what you are saying but players move from club to club every year. Gotta get the best A grade on the field as you can.

PNU has strong links with the legs (Macca has set up the connection well) and blokes like Davis, Auciello and co have been close mates with falcs players since juniors/school. We can debate how teams recruit and scrutinise things like game payments, jobs outside of footy, scholarships for players kids at colleges (old scholars), and other interesting methods that get brought up in Friday pub talk, however sometimes it is just that.

Looking through the results from last season, PNU had 8-13 points most games in their A Grade and I have heard a few are finishing up so I don't think that it's an issue in regards to staying under max. Goodwood would be similar with the Thring's going back to Keith and other clubs having country players leave, opening up available pts.

Div 1 will be very close again and the general standard is awesome going into 2021... I expect all teams to be around the mark, with basically every finals team from this year still stacked and others (like Port Dizzies, PNU, Gullies, Unley) having solid depth and new recruits.
