Open the app, press a button, on your way,
Harder work opening the door to go in.

How so?
We have recently come back from QLD and every pub and restaurant aswell as some shops have it there and it works fine. Sure it takes about 30 seconds extra to enter the premises but no real problem

Depending on which data platform they use but you need to usually add your address and phone number and sometimes a few other details but it’s only a 20-30 second process at worst

Just wait for the lines to get into any place with morons trying to work out how to use it

If you have to type in details every time that is going to get annoying super quick

I did it two days ago at the shops, only inconvenience was breaking stride to stop for half a second to press one button.

Going to save our gaming patrons heaps of time as at the moment they have to manually write their name, address, phone number, date and time entered.

If the elderly folk of a backwards state like QLD can use it just fine it can’t be too hard :)
At some restaurants it caused a slight lineup but nothing major
Some venues used the same QR program so the details save and when you go to another venue it’s already auto filled.

It’s either that or we go to the old pen a paper, I know which I prefer

Was that at Woolies?
The ones at restaurants and pubs interstate you are required to enter some information manually.
Don’t know if we are doing similar

Surely we pre-enter all required details into the myGov SA app and then when we scan the QR code the system knows who we are and autofills everything out for us.

If we have to scan and type in our own details each time what's the point of doing it via a bloody app!

As I said I’m not sure how the SA one is setup but in other states that I’ve been in its definitely not done that way.
If we are going down that path than it’s even easier

Nobody actually knows until it is updated on Tuesday as they are still working on it.

Knowing me I’ll keep forgetting to do it

SA has recorded two new cases linked to the Parafield cluster bringing the total number of cases to 33.

The two new cases are a child linked to the family at the centre of the cluster and a man in his thirties - a “casual contact” of a previous case.
Both have been in quarantine and the child has tested negative previously

Think i prefer the opposite one to you.
Wonder if they will use it against pubs and restaurants on numbers at the venue. Do you have to sign out when you leave the venue?

Just had to do it when we went out for dinner. Had to order online, pay online and put everyone’s details in, 5 people. Saw a waiter twice when they delivered food and drinks. We didn’t reorder any drinks as we couldn’t be bothered going through the order process again. Booked in for 7 out by 8 when we would normally stay a couple of hours and drink more and some would have dessert

If I want to do that I’ll order online and get it delivered.
