From tomorrow, sport is on.

10 remains the rule at homes until approx Dec 14/15th.
They flagged, without committing to it, that Xmas we will be allowed 50 at homes.

My club hasn't even got the email to say we will need the codes and they'll arrive today.

Its all over the shop. I'd imagine their hotline will be getting more and more frantic calls this afternoon from people wanting to know if they can open tomorrow morning without one!

We've rung the hotline today.
We've got a screenshot of the call log showing we contact them.

We intend to open tomorrow and display our codes as soon as they arrive.

If they don't arrive before the inspection we will explain that's what has occurred and we are still waiting.

The commissioner has repeatedly said they will have a transition period and won't fine people from day 1 if you are trying to do the right thing.
Showing we've contacted SA Heath is part of that.

We will also still have paper records to further show we are doing what we can while the system catches up.

Yeah, while Doc Emily explained it quite well today, I was listening and wondering if this policy distinction was always the case or if its new and their way of explaining their way around the fact this guy wasn't doing what they wanted but they also don't want to scapegoat him for fear of future positive testers not coming forward.

We were told if the code doesn’t arrive in time to use pen and paper. Same if someone doesn’t have a phone or the correct App

We've been doing that for months anyway so won't be an issue.

Not looking forward to moving furniture around due to increased capacity though.

Normally Monday nights are a breeze!

Here's one for the anti-Covid brigade:

Victoria records one new death from COVID-19

A woman in her 70s who was diagnosed with Covid in July, and was cleared as an active case in September, has been recorded as a Covid-related death when she passed away on November 29th.

They sure are, I'll probably have a quick swim before watering the tomatoes and corn, couple of beers and get dinner ready. Love my nights off.

The email does say paper and pen is adequate for those who don't own a mobile. We already use the government issued Covid tracing forms so I presume we continue to use them.
