Oh good, I'll be able to stock the cellar cheaply in a few months...

Not yet, they haven't put replacement orders on, just a lot of domestic orders dragged forward.

I thought we'd see cheaper wine from this but a colleague who is more in the know than me doesn't seem to think so, I thought it was a given but couldn't be bothered debating it.

If they wanted to label it "whine" they'd have produced a bottle of port.

Anyone grow veggies?

My tomatoes and corn are absolutely booming, I've given up on keeping the tomatoes tied to stakes, they've out grown them ( 180cm tall stakes ) and have just gone nuts. I'm pulling* 10-12 nice ones off every night at the moment and I reckon I've got about 100 double truss cherry either in flower or green and ripening.

Yeah I've been growing a couple of veggies. I dont have normal tomatoes just got cherry tomatoes (6plants) that Im Picking everyday now. Also picking at least 1 zucchini a day (4 plants). Have another 4 cucumber plants that im picking at least 1 a day off that now too.
Havnt picked any corn or capsicum yet (getting close), have a few eggplants growing as well, but can only see 1 fruit growing at the minute.
Also trying to grow watermelon, but that might be a late summer early august pick.
Must be the weather, nice rain every couple of weeks with some humidity and they take off.
Had some worms starting to breed up nicely, but the heat 2 fridays ago killed them. Will get some more and maybe put them in the garden over summer, then bring them to the top in autumn to put them back in their farm?
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

First time in about 8 years that I haven't been able to grow any, I'm usually doing a few types of tomatoes, cuey's, zucchini's and chilli's.

On the weekend I did get to see the passionfruit vine I planted a couple of years ago going haywire and producing a heap of fruit, a very attractive plant too running right along the fence down the side of the house.
