9 out of 11 appeared to be regulars.
McLean and Wade Matthews the two outs, replaced by S Cuconits and Pilcher.
A1 regular Sandercock played B's last night so I would suggest they were fairly happy with the side they put on the park, just couldn't reel things back in after Hanson and Bailey got the Bulls off to such a good start.

I'm in no state to play later today.
Hopefully I wake up to dark skies and wet ground, cause there is no way I'm going to make it to the oval by 1pm.

Big win for St Peters as it would have been very hard to make finals if you are winless after 5 rounds. Marion upset Pooraka on the back of a couple of outstanding performances. Sean Williams took 5 wickets including the vital wicket of Hanson and Ishan Amarasinghe starred with 132 to seal the win. I notice that Williams also picked up Hanson cheaply in the second dig. I'm tipping he will bounce back with a big score against Grange this week. Flinders Park continue on their winning way with a comfortable win over Walkerville. Para Hills despite having a couple of their stars (Box and McCard) unavailable were too strong for Ingle Farm. Kyle Parks moved up the order and carved out a quick fire 71 to get Para Hills to 205 and they bowled very well to restrict Ingle Farm to 130. Masterclass from Grant Carey taking 6 wickets. I thought Reynella were home after posting 278, but OSCA racked up their first win of the season making 351. @tigerpie, don't you like bowlers? In the final game, Grange accounted for Trinity OS. Grange have got off to a very good start to the season with some terrific all round performances by Travis Lane.
Pretty even competition at the moment .... you need to be playing at your best to win any game.

Generally A1-A3 will have umpires.
B1, B2, B3, C1, C2 and then LO1-LO7 umpire themselves.
Occasionally you will see an umpire in a lower grade if requested.
There has been an umpire allocated to the last two MSCC games in LO1 for example.
Going back a few years we also had umpires in B1, however that hasn't been the case for a few years now, and even some A3 games are only getting 1 umpire and the batting team is doing square leg.

Ah, cheers, I'm considering giving it a go now that I'm on the wagon.

Yeah they are taking anyone so you'd walk into a spot.
I think I saw recently that all you needed to do was an online test and then a 30 minute session in the nets at a clubs training with an umpires official watching you and you're good to go on Saturday.
The fact you're a past player of the game and have a track record umpiring footy successfully are only a bonus.
Heck, if you gave the umpires manager a call today you'd probably be allocated a game this weekend!
