It'll turn square day 4 and 5.
Lyon and "Lab" will be the difference.....hopefully!

1st rule of test match betting, don't back the draw.

Just watching the highlights from today now, nice to see what Pucovski has done at Shield level transfer to test level, he's easy on the eye. Obviously got some luck too which he deserves after all the bad luck he has had. His back foot drive is a class shot.
Smith played a class on drive too which is encouraging to see, reminded me of him play that shot alot in the 2019 Ashes.
Pant has had a day to forgot wow wee!
I was surprised yesterday when India decided to pick Saini, there was alot of noise about India going with the left armer Natarajan, time will tell how that selection goes.
Forecast (although you can never trust it) for Sydney for the coming days looks good.

Really good day for Australia and arguably only the second day of the series we have won.

Unless the pitch starts turning at right angles on day 4 and 5 its hard to see there being a result though.

If we can make over 350 we will be the only team that can win, our bowlers will break even if not beat their bowlers it was just a matter of whether our batters could make enough runs.

It's refreshing to see a traditional aesthetically pleasing bat again. I've enjoyed watching his game so far.

The deck is shit. The first two tests offered a bit for the bowlers, this doesn’t appear to do so. Bounce is a little lower and it’s built for batting.

J wonder if after all the scrutiny of the batting in the opening two tests if they decided to prepare this a little docile so Aussie bats can fill their boots.

Yeah agree. Give me a deck which slightly favours the bowlers over a batting deck every day of the week. Nothing more boring than batathons.

I guess we have to keep in mind this is a makeshift India pace attack. If you took out Starc and Hazelwood and replaced them with Pattinson and Neser we would be in trouble big time.

We have been fortunate the last two summers with opposition bowlers being injured, by the Sydney test last year NZ bowling up wouldn't have made a div 7 amatuer team.

I rate Pattinson, he wouldn't look out of place in an test bowling line up.

Never judge a pitch until both teams have batted on it Bedge!
Trent Copeland mentioned on ABC Radio it looks to be a pretty standard SCG wicket.

I like Pattinson as well but the Pattinson/Neser combination is no Starc/Hazelwood.

What's Wade need for a pass score here?
