Yup, not a bad summary to get in the mood for today.
Interesting to note with that depth of knowledge and feel for the game he didn't mention Smith's scratching at the crease, as he knows it was a non-event.

Speaking of non-events .... there goes Mr Warner

Fair to say our openers haven’t done the job this series

Warner and Harris might go down as the worst opening combination in Australia's history.

Might?

Think their partnership averages like 4 runs

Warner should have focused on batting rather than mouthing off to Pujara

Anyone who batted with Geoff Marsh in the late 80’s would give these 2 a run for their money.
Did Hilditch or Bishop bat with Marsh?
None of those 3 were superstars either.

Warner is a flog but he’s a bloody good player when on.......

Dear David,

You aren’t bigger than the game, you aren’t the Alpha Omega, you aren’t our national hero.

Firstly, shave that ridiculous looking mo off and focus on your batting.

Secondly, shut the hell up and concentrate on your batting.

Thirdly, stay away from the media and concentrate on your batting.

To the CA hierarchy, stop pumping up egotistical players, it backfires every time.

To JL, stop sticking up for dickheads, we currently have the most unlikeable XI in Australian cricket history, apart from the two newbies (who haven’t been in long enough to judge) there is only Cummins and Hazlewood I like, although Hazlewood seems to be developing the sooky spoilt brat persona that Smith began a few years ago and now Paine has endorsed it in his squad after a couple of years of being a man of integrity with strong leadership.

We are a bunch of sooks, we sook when DRS knocks back our reviews, it reeks of arrogance, how the hell do you sook about technical evidence that proves you wrong?

I hope there’s changes soon, get Punter or Tugger at the helm for starters, their leadership will bleed throughout the playing group.

He shouldn't be, he should look at how frustrating seeing Warner and Harris get out like that and then realise that whats what we watch nine times out of ten when he bats,
