Comp has been much better this season IMO, the Power Surge has been a winner, adds a bit of intrigue to the back 10 overs of each innings. Also not playing on shit heap pitches has meant much better cricket. Some great scoring in 1st innings, but not many well structured chases this season, teams are defending very well.

I don't mind watching the Strikers games, but I cannot ******* stand Mark Waugh commentating. There was a moment in the last game where Carey clearly edged a ball onto his pads, several replays confirmed it, other commentators said it did - but Waugh insisted it was plum LBW. **** off idiot.

I don't mind him, but he and his cohorts seem to regularly get behind the Strikers opponents lol (and I'm not trying to THAT parochial whingey type).

I've enjoyed the BBL this season, easy to chill out to when you get home from work.

I've probably held a grudge against him ever since he had a whinge about having to be in Adelaide on NYE to commentate

Yep he was trending on twitter last night so you weren't alone there! What I couldn't believe with that ball was when it was live there was clearly 2 noises (bat then pad) they then relayed it 2,000 times without the sound to determine if he hit it or not

He's had it in for Adelaide since he got busted with the bookies while in Adelaide with Warney. The Waugh family are very odd period.

Agree, you can only bowl Worrall at the start, he just gets hammered after that when it loses its swing.

Yep, Siddle who bowled the 3rd has never swung a ball in his life, absolutely baffling decision

Only one brother, Dean, who captained Kensington. Still lives in Adelaide. Was coaching Goodwood.

There is a 4th Waugh. Danny only played grade cricket in Sydney. Left handed as well.

Story goes Dean bowled short outside off stump to Steve hence his greatness in the back foot cover drive. Danny being a lefty drifted onto Mark's legs....

Thanks Heater and MAL. From one of his old team mates:

The three grew up playing backyard cricket together, but not quite. They had three pitches.

The backyard pitch was Adelaide Oval, straight out batting.

The driveway was Lords and was downhill which Mark credits for why he was strong off the pads.

The front yard was Madras as it was a spinner.

In order to decide which pitch they would use the had a three way toss.

Hobart Hurricanes absolutely blew that game, were absolutely cruising!

Strikers and Stars still alive now!

Stars get all four points in the next game and they knock Strikers out.

Sixers get the bonus point, so Strikers make finals, play Heat up in QLD on Friday night.
