It is happening with you. Jobkeeper has ensured that most players on the books last year are there still.

I also think Centrals have two announcements up their sleeve. A regular poster on here may be able to confirm shortly.

Except for the ones stolen by the Eagles.

Get over it Groucho.

I wonder what he is like to stand next to during a match? :D

Not sure if it has been mentioned already, but former AFL and West Adelaide listed player Gibson Turner is training with Glenelg.

I was told by an Eagles insider that the brothers knocked on the Eagles door looking for employment. Eagles were only interested in one of them but they insisted they were a package deal.

I'm no Eagles fan but there is always 2 sides to a story.

Agree with above, the problem is not the Eagles.

The North Adelaide Football Club would like to welcome Kaine Mercovich and Brandon Rusca to the Roosters for season 2021.

Kaine is 22 years old, 178cm and 82kg and comes to the club from the Port Fairy Football Club in the Hampden League. A tough, speedy inside mid who can play a variety of roles and has impressed with his professionalism, training intensity and football knowledge. Kaine won Port Fairy’s best and fairest in 2019 and is highly respected in the Hampden League where he has been a strong performer in interleague representative games.

Brandon is 19 years old, 181cm and 70kg and comes to the club from the Southern Districts Football Club in Darwin. He played 10 games for the NT Thunder in 2019 under the guidance of our Development Coach Darren Reeves. Brandon has elite speed, foot skills and decision making. Brandon plays his best football on the wing or across half back where he can use his speed and game awareness.

We are excited to see Kaine and Brandon in the red and white and we look forward to watching them prepare for the 2021 season.

Couple things here
Darren Reeves was a former junior coach at Centrals, Presumably Rusca is related to a former player at Centrals in Steve Rusca, you would think with those leg ups that Centrals may have been able to recruit him, doesnt look good for us

Shannon Rusca is Brandon Ruca's uncle and also coached him at Southern Districts in the NTFL.

Given that Darren Reeves is North's development coach he is much more likely to recommend a recruit to his current employer, not his former employer.
