Menzels Butcher Muzza Durdin Mckenzie Goody Toner would walk into our current league side imho

Hopefully the club can gain 2-3 more signatures before the season starts.

True, but the following were set to retire or are in the twilight of their career: Menzels, Butcher, Muzza, Goody
Toner was good but we only had him for less than a season and his best football only occurred in the last handful of matches.
We are lucky that Durdin was our only player picked up by the AwFuL - some clubs were hit a lot, lot harder.

Have only lost 4 who played in our last game... a win against the Eagles.

Out...Muzza, goodie, alfie and toner
In... grace (tfl leading goalkicker) grant (afl academy plater who is leading allcomers on the track), neagle (best is yet to be shown) and lange (potential gun)

Still doesn't include guys like Dew, Gillard, East, Grubb, Robinson, Dahms, Haydon, Patterson, Shaw, Cannizzaro, Hill, Brown, Burton and two big smokies... Tom Graham and Iles from Mick McGuane tutelage.

Central have also signed young goalsneak Jake Sutton from the NT Waratahs and Coburg.
Three minutes of Jake in action:

He seems to be able to find good space in the forward lines.

The number 2 jumper is available. I can't remember who wore it last year (can really, but he no longer exists to me)

also Dallas Hill,
Dylan Morton,
Jamie Coff,
Jake Sutton,
If we can secure the final 2 that we're endeavouring to sign up, things could look ok to good, fingers crossed.
The good news is there's no older blokes amongst this lot, so hopefully Thommo can mould a team that will want to stick around.

Harry Grant, 173 cms, 79 kgs.
Matt Neagle, 185 cms, 80 kgs.
Dallas Hill, 195 cms, 101 kgs.
Dylan Morton,
Jamie Coff, 197 cms, 86 kgs.
Together with Jack Sutton, Aiden Grace, Jacob Templeton, Billy Iles & Jaxon Neagle, we seem to have recruited rather well!
Maybe not as doom & gloom as some might think!

Former player Tate Coleman who played last year for Happy Valley (think he won the B&F) has returned to South.

Coleman played all three grades during 2018 when he made his league debut and will be a welcome addition.

Apologies if I missed previous debate on this.. but is my memory correct that Luke Surman played with Norwood last season? If so was he a required player entering into this season, was he shown the door or did he “retire” and then lob up at Alberton?

With St.Kilda’s main ruckman Rowan Marshall injuring himself today and going to miss early part of season, would think they will definitely snap up Hunter now as back up for Ryder

Has battled with injury ever since returning from Hawthorn. Was absolutely in our plans for season 2021 but had his head turned. TBH I don't think his body allowed him to be considered reliable enough so I'm not too fussed (until he starts clunking against us).

And at the same time another big man going down (Ben Paton) at St Kilda, with a suspected broken leg, Paul Hunter inches closer to an AFL lifeline
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
