Its an absolute joke!
You'd get a better game if the played on the green one two strips over.
Yeah, the pitch is such a shocker that the number 8 just made a ton on it.
I don’t mind seeing pitches like this and love the Poms sooking about it even more

India all out for 286, Ashwin the last man out for 106. Siraj had some fun at the end aswell as those two put on 49 for the 10th wicket, really rubbing salt into England's wound as they need a massive 482 to win.

Haven't seen the players sook, most English folk understand this is similar to the odd green seamer you get in England so hard to complain. India way to good but should make for a cracker third test under lights where we should have our best shot at winning.

Just wondering how many players have taken 10 wickets and made a hundred in a test match. Ashwin a big chance to do it.

I don't know about that stat but this is the third time Ashwin has made a hundred and taken a five wicket haul in test cricket, Ian Botham has done the most at five times.

I tuned into a bit of the India Vs England match last night.... saw Ashwin make his hundred. What did catch my eye was the wicket-keeping style of Foakes. Its about as hard to watch as Burns, batting...... I am no keeping coach, but his technique looks very awkward, he was not gloving the ball well at all in the hour or so I watched. 2 spinners operating on a turning wicket, is without doubt a stern test of any keeper. But he looked way out of his depth. Anyone else have an observation on this bloke?

Gee, I thought he did well and appears to easily be the Poms best gloves man for sometime

Foakes is rated one of the best if not the best glovemen in the world by most. Hes comfortably England's best pure keeper and his glovework on day 1 and 2 were impeccable.

I didn't see the last hour of India's innings, but I saw the first hour yesterday and Foakes was brilliant with a run out and two great stumpings. His style is similar to Dhoni, so not your classical keeper, but highly effective.

I don't know about that stat but this is the third time Ashwin has made a hundred and taken a five wicket haul in test cricket, Ian Botham has done the most at five times.

There are 3 players who made a century and taken 10 wickets in a test.
1. Ian Botham
2. Imran Khan
3. Shakib Al Hassan
Alan Davidson took 10 wickets and made more than a hundred runs, but he didn't make a century in an innings.
Can Ashwin be the 4th?

Yep Foakes was outstanding in the 1st innings, one of this stumpings was ridiculously quick, one of the best gloveman I've seen for a long time.
