Nice one, we're going to Alberton tomorrow night for the $12 dinner and a roll up.

I'm playing in a comp at Clearview, hopefully I go alright.

I might have to look at the Alberton thing one night.

Having my first crack at 'proper' lawn balls in a fortnights time. A few of the cricket lads have put a night owl team in the Spalding Bowls Club Comp.

Works out well Thursday Nights are now sorted, Cricket training from 6pm-7pm, bowls club for $10 snitzel and beer from 7pm-8pm, Comp bowling from 8pm-10pm with $4 beers all night. Fridays at work could be a bit iffy for the 2 months.

Nice, we won, I seen Bedgie there and they've asked me to play for the rest of the season, winning all round.

Leaving the kids home next week and heading off on a road trip, Melb for 2 nights, get to try out URBNSURF which is my 50th Bday present and then come home with a night on the Great Ocean Road and a night in Robe, after a pretty stressful 3 months at work it will be great just close the work laptop and turn off the work phone.

Moving Day soon hopefully.

My mate says to me last night "I'm seeing the agent Saturday and if there's no offers at my inspection I'm telling him that I'm renting the apartment out, when do you think you'd be wanting to move in"
Me "How does Sunday sound? I'll pack your shit up during the week for you and deliver it to your new place if it suits"

If this falls over now it will deadset destroy me.

Nope, just gotta keep looking otherwise, I'm not homeless but I need to get out of where I am for my mental well being and my health, my son is suffering a bit of PTSD from his ordeal last year and needs to spend more time with me too, I've brought most things that I'll need brand new along the way, I'm jumping out of my skin to feel like a normal person again.

ATM I feel like I don't live, I merely just exist.

this was a little while ago now, how did you go mate? did you get moved ok?

as a different topic, im looking forward to picking up our latest car purchase.

its the biggest, oldest, and will have the largest engine of any car ive ever owned :) and somehow ive convinced the wife this is a good idea, lol.

just have to wait for it to have a couple of things tidied up, and have it pass a couple of regency inspections and ill hopefully have it in the garage by easter.

now to hope for some great weather that weekend so i can put some miles on it over the 4 days.

I feel like a run down broken rejected being.

Congrats on the car mate.

All good, it's not as though it reminded me of where I'm at, I'm living it, I hate my job right now too and have requested a move to work out to our factory.

Things will get better at some stage though.

Let us know when you get the petrol guzzler going, I'll be keen for a cruise, I'm sure we'll be fighting the hotties off with sticks.

Certainly. Had a mate try to tell me "having an old car wont make you cool"

I strongly disagree, it will be about the only thing i have going for me in the coolness stakes, lol

What are you getting Tipper?

This is mine - I hate the gold flecked roof but it's necessary to keep it for the moment due to funding.

Mines a Bel Air mate, but there is a reason for the lighting in the rear looking like an Impala - long story.....

Biscayne, Bel Air, El Camino, Corvair, whatever, they're all cool mate. You'll love it. Make sure you're in a Chev club and you can enjoy the 90 day log book and 3 year registration for 'bugger all'.
