At least you only lost 1 wicket in the second innings, will that bloke turn up week two?

He's on the committee - so he better

To cap off my wonderful day, i shouldered arms and had my off stump cartwheeled.. then sat back and watched the bloke run through our lineup.

Is he quite sharp or something now? He used to be a keeper.

Nah didn't have any issues with his pace - he wasn't slow but, certainly not sharp.. bowled a swag of outties to me then got one to cut back.. the rest of the guys he just consistently yorked them, and hit it more often than not.

Early in your innings a well placed yorker isn't the easiest to play. 4/5 wickets were yorkers hitting the base of the stumps. Angled in, try and swing to straighten and slide under the bat.

We just have a great habit of making players look far better than they are.

We were 8/37 Saturday, all out for 52.. in reply we rolled them for 136, then had to bat another 9 overs before stumps - 1/42.

I hate cricket.

Bedge reading your cricket stories makes it sound like you play for the Sportsbet Grubs and you're 'Skip' haha.
(Only joking and I'm well aware of who you play for and how you're going)

Mundine fighting Zerefa in March. I missed this announcement in December but crikey Anthony, give it up bud! Of course he's shooting his mouth off for ratings but he could very well embarrass himself in the ring.

Women at work complaining about the new laws on plastic once off use banning's.

They think it's unfair on the cafe owners for having no prior notice and how much they don't like drinking out of paper straws.

Exactly, I just can't even be bothered joining in on their rants to correct them, they'll just bitch and moan even more.

Yes, it's a minor inconvenience but the long term positives severely outweigh the selfish, lazy habits that we have developed.

Woman walking a large Labrador, scurrying across Greenhill Rosd this morning as there was oncoming traffic the dog decided that the middle lane was a great spot to have a crap with cars coming. She pulled and pulled but the dog wouldn’t move

We left Morgan last Thursday at around 11:30am, we motored for about 3 hours so got about 15-16km's up stream.

We parked around 2:30, got on the beers and while sitting on the back swim deck off to our left, coming down stream is a bloke on a stand up paddle board. On the front of the board is a big backpacker type backpack, a swag, a small esky and a foam box, like the white ones you get from the fish mongers. None of it is wrapped up in plastic, it's just sitting on the stand up paddle board.

His name is Bobby. Bobby is from the UK, he's in shorts, shirt, floppy hat and I hold out an icy cold Pale can for him to come and grab. He's most thankful for it. He sits with us and has a chat about his adventures. He and a mate ( wait for it ) started in Echuca (!) 10 weeks ago, his mate went home 4 weeks into it, couldn't handle it, Bobby kicked on. He's heading to the mouth. What a story to tell one day!
