Not sure any SANFL administration were interested in reconsidering the original vote.

Isn't it funny that we never see an opposing opinion from a Port supporter.

With the peanuts they’re getting paid, I don’t mind the extra opportunities / incentives for SANFL players to make it on an AFL list. I don’t like the idea of them being picked up by Port or the Crows to play against them though.

Um what? Why would the SANFL renegotiate?

(He says knowing full well the SANFL will gladly capitulate and drop their daks again for the AFL cancers.)

This is my biggest pet hate in high level management.

Why not just own the decision, come out and say the Crows fee will be negotiated to a lower fee due to the salary cap being decreased and the lost income they saw from last seasons AFL.

The public know what you are doing, just own it and at least hold some respect.

Good idea, the poor AFL clubs lost a fortune last year, so much so that the players took a 3% pay cut for next season. More than happy for the Crows to drop their licence fee by 3%

You have only got to listen for about 20 mins to see why people dislike Port and the AFL. LOL

Now the AFL is in control of Port its good for the SANFL.

DARREN CHANDLER: The Crows and Port have long term agreements to be part of the sanfl until 2028 and we’d like to strengthen that relationship.

Or until it doesn't suit either to which we will then let them walk away from the agreement no questions asked.

crazy stuff, the majority don't want them in, but they're in anyway, whether you like it or not, or if it's in the best interests of the other 8 clubs or not.

Perhaps he could insist on a reach-around from time to time.
