Remind me again what the prize money is for winning the ATCA Div 1 flag?
With that, merchandise, ticket sales and bar takings for the weekend they''''d be well in front ;)

The turf presentations are tomorrow, so here are my tips for the medals and team of the year!

A1: in no order- clayfield, Pickford or Barnesy. Hanson will poll 9 for 3 best ons, but I doubt anything more. The hills boys will share a lot of votes, as will the flinders park lads.
A2: Behrendt will be miles in front I think, winning both batting and bowling. Hyland or Harvey from woody south, could upset the fave!
A3: few amongst the mix.. 5-6 from unley to share the votes, partridge and siebert for gepps, Anderson and cree and golden grove. Rajith premachandra from the lions had a fantastic year with both bat and ball. So expect him in the top 3

Team of the year:
M Cuconits
R Gabb (+)
M Overall (c)
M Hanson
J Bailey
J Barnes
N Fox
L Pickford
S Eranga
N Clayfield
R Fry
12th - Behrendt

See what happens!

I think they will try and pick a balanced team, so we should expect them to pick a spinner - Carey.
A1 Cricketer of the Year is an auto selection - could be a tie like it was 2 years ago which means all winners are in.
A2 Cricketer of the Year is an auto selection - assume Behrendt.
A1 Wicketkeeper of the Year is an auto selection - could be any one of Gabb, Fonseka or Bailey. I'll go with Fonseka who obviously caught the umpires eye last year.
If Gabb is the W/k he opens, if not its a toss up between Ley, Amarasinghe or maybe Box.
I don't think they should be picking too many allrounders, so it's Barnes or Eranga, not both. Barnes just.

Yeah absolutely! I think both gabb and Bailey make the side. Unless they go with 1 of the 2 and pick a para hills bat. Carey does make the side, you’re right there! Take eranga out slide clayfield/fry up and lock Carey in at 11. Is the a2 player in the side or can be 12th. Will be good to see who makes it! A few different names again!

I don't think they nominate a 12th man .... just pick 12 players

Nathan Fox my Smokey for A1 player of the year.
Clayfield with an 8fa and a 100* should win A1 all rounder of the year.

Yeah, there's a way to smooth it over so everyone wins a prize, like the ODD used to do when they played with 12.

They didn't nominate a 12th man as such, but the team was listed in batting order and the bloke in the last slot bowled 0 overs this year so fairly clear he was considered the 12th! haha

Mark Hanson must be incredibly fit, only 7 boundaries and a 6 out of his 500+ runs for the season.
