Footy Class touched on this on Monday night, as Caro and Kane noted it's hard to believe Port got him as cheap as we did given his versatility and ability as a key defender, lots of clubs would be keen on a 196cm marking rebounding defender.

Dare I ask.... is this finally the missing piece of that puzzle Ken was referring to? :-?

I think the missing piece stands before him when he's having a shave. I can't see Port winning a flag with Kenny at the helm.

Shouldn't have lost to Richmond in the prelim and we had Geelong's measure IMO.

The Marshall selection was a shocker, you can't win finals on sentiment or good luck charms against the best team over a sustained period.

Spot on re. Marshall. That one late goal where he got emotional got him the prelim spot

Top all year, win a home final against the arch enemy, lose by a goal to the eventual premier but the coach has no idea about selection.

Got to love it.

I would've played Westhoff, one last dance, he would've given it his everything and has far bow strings to his bow.

If Marshall was up on confidence and in form he would've nailed that goal early and we would've been hitting the ground running.

I'm still utterly puzzled why the Swans didn't try harder to keep him. It's not as if they're overflowing with players that meet the above description.

Each to their own, when you get a cup handed to you it's best to grab it with both hands, we didn't, we've had the best squad going around previously and stuffed it up too.

2014 we were robbed in the prelim, 2015 and 2016 we went backwards, 2018 we were 11/4 and then failed to make the finals, there's a common link.

Richmond travelled all year, we had a piss easy draw in comparison and we blew the golden opportunity.

But we finished top? We were the better team, we beat them comfortably throughout the year, but then someone forgot about some fella they call "Dusty".

This ^ .. Richmond had 6 more scoring shots, better team on the night.

Ports might have got them during the minor round (excellent game that one), but Richmond had a healthier list come finals time and their pedigree can't be denied. I don't see KH being a reason for Port to not win a flag - They were last seasons Hay List.

If Port and Richmond had swapped coaches last year, who wins the 2020 premiership?
If Clarko had coached Port last year, who wins?

I think Port would have won last year with either of those coaches

Yeah but you also have to remember, if they had either of those coaches, they won't win 3 flags in the next 5 years like Kenny is going to do.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.
