It was just bad luck and bad timing, for someone who usually boxes 4 to come 1st and 3rd with the fave to come 2nd I'd usually get a far better return.

Of course it's about the pool size but 6pm on a Tuesday I would've thought there'd be a better return.

There's been times where I've prospered when I thought I'd get bugger all so I have to take the good with the bad.

My two trifecta systems were working well last night with gallopers, trots and dogs.

Favourites coming 2nd and picking around them, with 6 to win, 1-5 to come 2nd and 3rd.

Organised a bus for 8 of us to go to Oakbank on Saturday, 31° and we have :

$60 per person return on the bus.

$110 per person for entry ( $30 ) Race book ( $6 ), 2 tables on the Grandstand lawns ( 4 people per table ) chairs and umbrella with a 10 drink drink card for beer, wine, cider and soft drink .

$170 for bus up and back, entry and 10 beers. Can't take grog into the licenced area but we can take our own food so some platters will get made up in the esky. Giddy the f*ck up!

The Qld country form bloke on the Tab Sports Breakfast Show this morning gave one out which he thought was ridiculous overs.
Mackay R3 # 3, I grabbed the $81 on offer at the time, it’s now into $19.

How long has Oakbank been a Sat/Wed/Sat meeting instead of a Sat/Mon meeting?
