Centrals supporters have a lot to look forward to this season if they keep playing this brand of footy

There it is the Dogs have won!!!!

What a bloody performance, foot skills were great, intensity was strong, composure was there and the work rate was brilliant.

Marsh was an absolute star today....along with many others.

Bruise free football from North today .
Very very disappointing start to the year.
Second efforts, group tackles, smothers and pressure nowhere to be seen.
Well done dogs best on the day by some margin IMHO,

I hope we are better than the comparison but was a lot of Adelaide vs Geelong round 1 about it. Centrals were young hungry and had a bee in their bonnet. North looked like they thought they could flick the switch at any point.

Glad Ididn't make the trip now!

North have South, Norwood and the Eagles next so could be a difficult start if they don't pull their finger out.

Not many if any negatives to speak of.

Something I did think was noticeable is we scored 15 goals from 52 inside 50's (1:3.46 ratio). North scored 14 goals from 40 inside 50's (1:2.8 ratio). If we don't win enough ball and teams can get a load of inside 50's our mini me defence could very well be in trouble.

The most surprising stat was North won the clearances 31 to 29 which you think might have equated to more inside 50's but obviously not in this case.

Lots of talk at the ground that James Boyd has retired and Connor McLean has left the club. Can anyone confirm?
