Advanced and hit it back to Worrall then got in the way of the throw. Happened quickly but looked deliberate to me
Was out of his crease when the throw struck him in front of the stumps. Also moved from an offside to legside to protect them. Out every day of the week.

Agree. Easy decision for the umpires and Harper just had a brain explosion. If the throw still hit the stumps he would have been close to be in his crease.

Also we aren't using the Duke ball anymore are well after xmas?

How big a factor was it not being able to polish the ball with sweat and saliva ??
Haven't seen it mentioned as an excuse but surely it had some impact?

SA just dont have the bowlers to bowl teams out on Roads.
They only lost 3 Shield games and one of them was because of a generous declaration that gifted NSW a win i think it was?

Rumour is 10 cut from the Redbacks

Ferguson, Cooper, Sayers, McInerney, Davis, Valente, Robins, Bosisto, Drew, with question mark on Mennie as well due to his family situation in UK.

Don’t know who they replace all them with - Kerber and Gibson apparently will get one.

Rumours still about Conway and Renshaw coming here too.

When is Tim Neilson being cut as well????
Surely there is fallout from the season just gone.

He has to go surely.
He can be replaced but not sure about the players.
Where do we get 6 quality cricketers to improve our side?

Couldn’t agree more. Never seems to be held accountable. He is Head of a High Performance, I know several contracted Redbacks who he has not spoken to once this season. That is a disgrace. He has signed Harry up for three more years with Redbacks and Strikers, time now to just FUKC OFF and start with a complete fresh approach.

Valente has said Gillespie has his favourites too and if you are not in that group he doesn’t want to know you. That is poor as well!

Richo does not want to play Red ball cricket, is a white ball specialist, hence why has Aussie contract.

As Amber said above, where do you find six more quality players? Have to target interstate guys like Hussey recommended. We don’t have anyone ready here, few good young kids, but seen with Liam Scott and Corey Kelly when they throw them to the wolves they are not ready yet.

That's an absolute disgrace if that's happened. If that's the case it's then the same old boys club as we've been seeing and Dizzy is then no better than what we've had in the past!!
Watching the 1-day coverage the other day it was interesting to hear Darren Berry talking about how he and Tim Nielsen got on with each other. We all know how that ended up!

Valente's opinion is not worth the paper it's written on. Not that mine is much better but people are always disgruntled and cricket is a game where only 11 can play at once which means with fewer spots than other sports, people always feel hard done by no matter what level of cricket.

But yes Tim Nielsen needs to go.
