Happy Easter all

We had a complete family egg hunt, there's only two kids under 10 nowadays and they had given up on the smaller eggs but then there was my 25 year old daughter and her partner fighting over getting to them first, it was hilarious, she wouldn't share any of her chocolates with him so when she went to the toilet he switched names on their bags and proceeded to eat hers, she was none the wiser sitting next to him.

What a cracking weekend it was.

Friday - Hit the garden, swam, beers, chilled out.

Saturday - Oakbank with a great crew, ripper day. Could have been better if the organisers organised more.

Sunday - Slow start ( see above ), family catch up in the arvo, took the Falcon for a cruise at twilight.

Monday - 25 big blueys in the boat off Largs, glassy conditions and a few icy cold pale cans on the water. Back home to cook them up, picked through a few with a couple more cans, watch the footy ( don't rate that one bit though ) and a swim to wash the salty air off.

All in all a cracking 4 days off with some lazy time mixed in with some busy and productive stuff.

Spent the Easter weekend with 4 other couples at Pt Willunga Big 4 Park. Awesome weather, awesome setup, heaps for the kids to do, liver seriously thankful to be back home. Such a quick and easy trip to get there, even zipped back home on Good Friday to pick up the 3kgs of prawns I’d forgotten to take. Highly recommend this place.

Finally unpacked to the point of “liveability”.....

Onto the 3rd beer now.

Ziggy and a rib eye at the ready, nice bottle of red selected.

Tipping I’m asleep by half time in the footy, but ready for a 5.00am tee time at Augusta in the morning.

Last day of leave tomorrow.
