I am sort-of surprised that the Crows AFL didn't get their local game against the Eagles moved to another time-slot so as to not clash with the AFLW GF.

Seems like the boys don't support the girls ?

I heard Nicks on the radio said that most of the blokes would be at the AFLW so more like they aren’t supporting their teammates

24.11 (155) -That's actually the highest score the Crows Reserves have conceded in the SANFL, and the highest anyone in the comp has scored since Rd2 2018.

You missed Mead bump a crows player
Umpires couldn’t pay a free kick to the Eagles until the third
Umpires couldn’t pay holding the ball against the crows particularly in the centre square

But really wtf have the crows got in their seconds not much

Was a strange game to watch great win eagles
Everyone I know at the ground was shocked Redden played in the seconds
Didn’t know Poole and Lonergan were out
The kids that came in played very well
Stengle was good
Cameron played his best game
Hayes and VB did well in the ruck playing like extra midfielders

Eagles win the Hall-Stengle Cup.

Ironically the game credited with the most tackles out of the four played today. Lachlan Matthews would also disagree with you.

Actually Stengle was excellent and would be in our top 3. Thought he was the player who set our rampage in motion from late in the first quarter. Besides the 4 goals he kicked he gave off at least two.

Jack Hayes 33 possessions and 3 goals as our main ruckman. Just hand him the 3 Magarey votes now.

Knight, Tsitas, Cameron and Giuffreda round out my best.

As a general comment if felt like our team finally got the balance right between talls and smalls. I felt the first few weeks we were too top-heavy and lacked run. Getting back Rowland helped a lot and having a speedy small forward (Stengle) in the forward line made a huge difference. Next week T Menzel will be available and i assume Poole and Lonergan. Obviously Redden will be considered. It will be tough to fit them all back in. Who gets dropped based on the total team performance today? Possibly Moore and Hardie and then you'd be looking at players like Firns. Did MacFarlane get injured early? I didn't notice him after half time.

Not sure if MacFarlane got injured

You are correct about all that I’m not sure about Macfarlane
Stengle offers the Eagles a little bit extra up forward
Did you see the Eagles seconds player with a hard surname to pronounce first name Jordan kicked 6 goals something for the future for the eagles to consider for small forward
Imho Cameron played his best game for the eagles
Giuffreda might be getting old but eagles missed him last week

As a Facebook friend whose an eagles fan posted Another Eagles win by Godden

SB you may find out they were Pink . The Eagles were wearing Pink for breast cancer . Eagles sponsors were paying $50 a goal to the charity
Players were wearing pink bands as well
Crows players wore them as well

Side effect of the pink numbers you could see them from afar

Bwa Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha

Eagles win and their posters are all over this site

They were rarer than rocking horse shit last Saturday

The captain of the front runners is leading from the front.

F***ing typical

Apologies to Aerie and Mr Fuller who generally have the Kahunas to front up win lose or draw
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Instead of being a loud mouth wanker like you are why don’t you ask me in private why I didn’t post after the eagles shit match last week and I would’ve told you I was in ******* pain with my ******* cyst for a week
The reason I didn’t go last week my family didn’t think I could walk the distance to get to Glenelg oval
Some days I spit the dummy
But this year I’m in pain on pain killers on a three year waiting list to go onto a list to see a specialist
If you saw me at Woodville oval today carrying my chair and using my walking stick at least I didn’t fall down the steps under the scoreboard this week

Rather than be a loud mouth idiot send me a PM this year I’m there when I can survive the pain

I only watched on digital pass today (good job Ferg on special comments). With the extra power up forward this season and with Jack Hayes unbelievable form in the position, does the combo of him and Von Bertouch become the preferred option in ruck? Redden to get back his match fitness in the Reserves and force his way back in the side? I’ve been one that has been reluctant to take Hayes away from CHF as I think he’s the best in that position in the competition - but he may be even more influential playing on ball. A magnificent player.

A good game to give Williams and Stengle some confidence and Goldsworthy, Rowland and Giuffreda a run. It is important that forward line has some bite and Williams and Stengle provide that. The ANZAC clash comes at a perfect time. North will bring what Glenelg brought last week - it won’t be a training run like it was today. So which of the new players will put their hand up to let Sheedy know they have what it takes when the pressure is on?

I assume you aren't referring to me either - did you see me post in last years GF thread? Or the PF one? Rd 1 this year? Get back to me if I did. Also tell me if I didn't post in Rd 14 last year, too.

I only really posted in here because of a particular stat.

Didn't Zane Williams play today???? Thought he was sensational in only his third league game for the club, kicked four goals. The small forward division was electric today.
